What is the 10°C Double Sleeping Bag made of?

A sleeping bag does not produce heat but retains the heat produced by the body. If you’re cold and you slip into a cold, damp sleeping bag, it’s very likely that you’ll feel cold no matter how good your sleeping bag is! These temperature ratings therefore depend on the user’s resistance to cold, equipment, clothing, and weather conditions.

Is the comfort temperature rating the same for everyone?

In the 10°C Double Sleeping Bag, you’ll be warm enough with just a single layer of clothing. Warm up your extremities with a hat, gloves, socks, hand and foot warmers, etc. A bottle of hot water can be used to warm you up (make sure it is properly closed!). Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat) and try to keep still—moving around too much will let in cold air.
Using a sleeping bag liner means you won’t have to wash the sleeping bag as often.

What to wear when sleeping in the 10°C Double Sleeping Bag

The 10°C Double Sleeping Bag is machine-washable. 
We recommend using a washing machine with a minimum capacity of 7 kg (15.5 lb). 
Also remember to zip up your sleeping bag.
