I'm very picky about what I run in – leggings never do the job for me so it's shorts for all weather. For years I used a pair of cheap shorts not designed for running, as they had multiple pockets and dried fairly quickly, and I never replaced them because I could never find a

pair of proper running shorts that met my needs. I finally had to scrap them earlier this year after losing too much weight to keep them, and thank goodness I found this pair at Decathlon instead – they are truly fantastic. The back pocket is big enough for a phone and a gel, and the right pocket has a hook that you can put your keys onto so you never have to worry about them getting dislodged and falling out of your pocket entirely. I did end up having to size down after getting a new phone as it was so heavy as to pull the shorts down while running (and I couldn't tie them any tighter). I only wish more colours were available as I can't imagine running in anything else!

Bought these in the Toulose city store whilst looking at shoes. I have large hips and a small waist and often struggle with bottoms. These have a super soft waistband that fits nicely without squishing and a lace tie to keep them there. The rear zipped phone pocket is big e
