Excellent, fully featured outdoor pants, and an unbeatable value for money! The reinforcement panels are highly appreciated, ditto the included, removeable belt. The belt also did not slip, even with lots of movement. The lower leg vents have another un-advertised advantage

- because there is no mesh insert, you can open them to pull up a fallen sock! The fit is slim without being restrictive in the top block, and fairly generous but not baggy below the knees, to fit over boots. Sizing is European (true to size, not vanity sized), so size up if you are between American sizes. The pockets are well positioned, and the zipper pulls can be used even with gloved hands. I appreciate the inclusion of zip pockets on both legs especially when wearing a long coat. My only complaint is that it would be nice if the boot hook had a fabric pocket to pull over it while not in use, which would also make them easier to put on without snagging a foot. For the money, you will be hard pressed to find a better pair of outdoor pants. If you don't care about brand names or proprietary fabrics, get these!

Very well made pants. I wore these for a backcountry camping trip in Algonquin. They were very comfortable and dried very easily. Lots of pockets for your stuff and heavy duty knee and derriere coverage. Side vents help you cool down. The hook for the boot/shoe laces keeps pa

nts from riding up and keeps mosquitoes from biting one's ankles. Major plus! I'd say these are comparable to the $250 Fjallraven Keb pants at a fraction of the cost. Get em!

Very comfortable for field work

Fits really nice, very soft material, the more durable material on the knees and bottom, is super comfortable as well, but seems like it’ll hold up well against rocks etc. Really happy with these for the price. the boot hook is a great plus, and the vent zippers are a nice lux

Decathlon USA's best product by far. Worn these for winter hiking and mountaineering objectives across the country. The reenforced areas are great for sitting on rocks and protecting from crampons, and I can't state enough how amazing those side ventiliation zips are when the

sun comes out and you're regretting wearing those thermal leggings. These pants are surprisingly warm and wind resistant for the weight, and because of the side zips they work for whatever weather you'd encounter. However, I would not recommend these pants for regular hiking in the summer - but these are softshell pants, so that should go without saying. Decathlon, please never discontinue these pants!
