We chose a less toxic mechanical solution than permethrin-based impregnation (biocidal product).

We placed 60 female mosquitoes of 3 different species (Aedes, Culex, and Anopheles) in a sealed room (only female mosquitoes bite).
Ten testers spent 60 minutes in the room in total.
Score: this product stops 95% of mosquito bites.

Effectiveness

The World Health Organization recommends at least 25 holes per cm² to stop mosquitoes effectively.
With 40 holes per cm², the mosquito net used on this hat won’t let any through.
This net is untreated.

How effective is the mosquito net?

If you are visiting an area with increased mosquito activity, we also recommend using an anti-mosquito spray, a lemon eucalyptus-based essential oil, or icaridin.
