Poor design, crotch far too high

I'm sure the trousers are waterproof and function as they should, however the fit was so bad and uncomfortable I was never going to be able to try them out. Purchased a medium based on my usual waist size, but the crotch is SO high it's incredibly uncomfortable. In order to we
ar them comfortably the waistband would have to sit below my hips and then the legs are too long.
