I bought this with low expectations, and now I'm very into Skipping so I think it was very successful in getting me into this hobby. According to my fitness app, I have been skipping for 10.5 hours, about 8 of those are with this rope. I have been skipping since September a
nd I purchased this rope on October 5th for a consistent workout tool. It broke on the 2nd of January so it lasted me that long, 31 total workouts. I loved the rope, the ball bearings were a huge difference from the cloth rope I was using prior, and I could skip a lot better with this one. I skip outside so I was aware there would be some wear but yesterday I tried to wrap it up and it broke at the handle. The rope itself was the part that disconnected from itself, presumably I had both worn it down from the swinging motion, and wrapping it up. I'd be happy to recommend this rope for someone who might not know if they want to do this more often, just don't wrap it excessively and try to store it with the rope hanging. Maybe skip on a mat too so the rope doesn't get damaged. I noticed a great deal of wear on the centre of the rope. If you are already into Skipping, buy a more durable/expensive rope and get a mat for skipping outside.
