Choosing your basketball shoes

We recommend picking your usual shoe size for basketball trainers and trying on your shoes before your first practice.
Feel free to go up a size if it feels more comfortable.
There should be about 1 cm (2/5") between your toe and the end of the shoe because your foot will tend to swell slightly as you exercise.
Finally, opt for basketball-specific socks that reduce friction in the areas that are most likely to rub.
