The benefits of aquafitness or aqua aerobics

Start each exercise in the basic position: feet flat against the bottom of the pool, back straight, knees slightly bent.

Basic position and sample exercises

Adopt the basic position.
Hold the dumbbells at chest height, elbows bent. Straighten one arm down, pushing the dumbbell toward the bottom of the pool, then return to your initial position. Alternate arms.

Exercise no. 1: Shoulders and arms

> Adopt the basic position with your elbows bent. Cross your arms and stretch them out in front of you, one after the other. Then start again!

Exercise no. 2: Back, shoulders, and arms

Adopt the basic position.
With your elbows tucked to your ribs, hold the dumbbells palms up. Turn your upper body to the left while stretching out your right arm, then to the right while stretching out your left. Repeat.
