The patch worked very well; however, it is very shiny. For jackets I would recommend tenacious tape. It has a matte finish and come in cool shapes. like a bear or buffalo.

My Quechua jacket was torn on pocket joint. This patch helped me restore it. As both jacket and patch were black colored the patch is barely visible to eyes. Not recommended for colors other than black.
