These skis are waxed, sharpened, and ready-to-use. Edge sharpened to 89°.

Preparation

With a rocker-type ski, the tip and sometimes the tail of the ski come off the ground sooner than with a cambered ski, which moves the contact points toward the centre of the ski. The ski has less contact with the snow, offering added manoeuvrability and lift in soft snow. When leaning into turns, the edge length delivers more grip on hardpack. The longer the rocker, the easier the ski is to handle. The shorter it is, the more grip you’ll get.
