Single-jointed snaffles are perfect for riders with less stable hands, or beginners. If you pull with a double joint, you create zigzags with your hand, which may cause more lesions in the horse's mouth.

After checking the size of your horse;
Step 1: 
clean leathers with glycerine soap and a damp sponge (using cool water). Leave to soak in and dry.

Step 2:
(essential for new, dry, or cracked leather. Not recommended for leather that is already soft). Apply oil using a cloth, paying particular attention to the underside of the leather. Leave to soak in. 
Step 3: 
(for any type of leather). Apply grease using a cloth. Buff to a shine using a cloth and allow to dry.

Tips before first use or to restore leathers

After each use, oil new leathers using neatsfoot-type oil. Clean regularly using glycerine soap. Moisturize regularly using leather milk. Treat with dubbin or leather grease.

Use this surcingle with a surcingle pad or cloth. However, do not use with a withers pad, which may put pressure on the area that is being freed up.

The overlap of the three layers on the back, on either side of the mesh back line, reduces the impact of the rider on the back. The shape of the saddle pad is the most ergonomic in our range.

Saddle pad characteristics:

The mesh topline is wider at the withers to free up the horse's movement. The area that may come into contact with the withers is thin and flexible. The back foam pads are carefully positioned to avoid discomfort. For example, the 3-layer cushioning stops high on the saddle pad to avoid compression of the thoracic cage. The foam was deliberately designed to extend beyond the saddle.
