When cooking, the whole pot heats up. Use thick gloves or an oven mitt to handle it. The 100% stainless steel construction makes it easier to use and more durable.
To avoid damaging it, never heat your cooking pot when it’s empty.
When using the pot over a wood fire, make sure the handles are facing upward and do not touch the flames.

Safety tips

This cooking pot can be used on any type of heat, whether it’s a camp fire, gas stove or induction cooktop. 
The holes in the lid facilitate draining and you can use the hook to hang the lid on the pot so it doesn’t get lost (there’s never enough room when you’re camping). 
You can use any type of utensils with this non-stick pot, even our stainless steel camping utensils (product number 8751074). 

Tips for use

This pot is made with 18/8 (304) stainless steel, combining food safety with long-term durability. This material doesn’t rust and prevents corrosion. As stainless steel does not conduct heat as well as aluminum, we added a double layer of aluminum on the base of our MH 500 saucepans and frying pans. This distributes the heat evenly and increases efficiency, reducing the amount of fuel needed to cook.

Why did we choose 18/8 (304) stainless steel for this 4-person campfire cooking pot?

Before first use, wash and rinse the whole pot and the lid 3 times with warm, soapy water.
Leave to dry before storing in a dry place. If stains persist, wash again and wipe with a dry cloth.
The whole pot is dishwasher safe. 
You can use abrasive sponges, a stainless steel sponge or sand to clean this pot.
