XTR - extra short turn 166 cm (65”) = allows you to make very short turns with fast edge changes

The smaller the curve radius, the tighter the turn

The bigger the curve radius, the more the ski will turn

- Radius XTR = 12.8 m (42’) for very short turns
- Radius STR = 13.6 m (44.6’) for short to long turns
- Radius MTR = 14.5 m (47.5’) for long or high-speed turns

Sidecut

On a rocker ski, the tip and sometimes the heel come off the ground sooner than with a cambered ski: this moves the contact points toward the centre of the ski. The ski has less contact with the snow, offering added manoeuvrability and lift in soft snow. When leaning into turns, the edge length offers more grip on hard snow. A longer rocker improves the way the skis handle.

What is a rocker?

After a long day of skiing, this is what you should do to prolong your ski’s life:
* Wipe your edges with a cloth to prevent rusting.
* Use ski ties to prevent the bases from rubbing against each other.
* Store your skis in a dry place, away from sunlight.
