There are no instructions, so the very first time you set this up you WILL set it up wrong and it'll wobble like crazy. It doesn't seem like there's any way to stabilize it, but there is and once you do it right it'll be rock solid. Un-stick the velcro from the bottom stora

ge part, clip in the straps, and then tighten them until the orange stitching marker is past the clip. That's what the stitching is for, to tell you when it's tight enough. Then secure the velcro on the storage part and you're good to go. Once you do that it's a really solid little table. I don't think the top surface is heat resistant so make sure you use trivets. I use a silicone baking mat from Ikea to keep everything from sliding around on the plastic surface.

Sadly not fit for purpose as a worktop

The cupboard looks great and is easy to assemble but quickly I noticed that items on the worktop and in the shelves had shifted to the back. When I tried to slice some vegetables, I realised the entire worktop moved up and down. I was glad I hadn’t turned on my hot plate becau

se any contents would have spilled. I assumed this movement was so that the worktop would self level on an uneven ground surface but there was no way of fixing this in place once assembled. I really liked the cupboard and wind shields for cooking but did not feel it would be safe enough to use.

Faulty Dangerous Item

I had high hopes for this kitchen. On first inspection out of the box it looked good. I set up my gazebo and got everything organised - I put the gas stove on the top of the kitchen but the unit kept tipping forward and back. We were unable to stabilise it with the straps unde

rneath and then had to put it away for the whole trip because it was too dangerous to use. Returning to store.

Attila

Hi,Thank you for your message and for bringing this issue to our attention.I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you've encountered with the kitchen unit, particularly with its stability. From the image you shared, it seems that the straps may not have been fully tightened,

which is crucial for ensuring stability. The straps should be tightened until the colored mark is centered on the buckle to help prevent any movement. For future models, we are working on improving the structure to enhance stability, similar to our "storage unit" design, which will be available in 2025. In the meantime, I recommend checking the load distribution as well, since adding weight with dishes, food, and other items can help improve the stability of the unit.Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and danger this has caused during your trip. I appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve our products. If you continue to have issues, please consider returning the product to the store for further assistance.Thank you for your understanding.
