The 900 is designed for advanced skiers looking for rigidity, support, and precision to ski fast. Its close-fitting shape (100 mm) and preformed liner with closed foam provide great precision. Rigid (adjustable flex: 110/120) and provides excellent responsiveness but requires physical performance and good ski technique. Equipped with a GripWalk sole, it offers good walking quality (Warning: The bindings of the ski must be GripWalk-compatible).

Experience

Brands assign a flexibility rating (flex) to every boot. This rating indicates the rigidity of the boot: the higher the value, the stiffer the shell. 
– A flex of 60–70 is considered best for beginner skiers. 
– A 70–100 flex rating is for intermediate skiers. 
– A rating above 100 is aimed at advanced skiers. Heavier skiers, however, can go up a level.

What is flex?

The 900 ski boot has 4 aluminum micrometric buckles for powerful and precise tightening. Adjust the length of the buckle for the ideal fit. The 2 top buckles have 3 positions to fit every calf size (no tools required). A wide, adjustable strap on the upper for strong and easy closure at the top of the shell.

This is a new ski outsole standard. The raised toe provides more natural foot motion and makes walking easier. Important: The bindings must be compatible with GripWalk!

What is a GripWalk sole?

The ski boot size is stated in Mondopoint size. It’s actually the length of the foot in cm. 
Wedge your heels along a wall, slide a sheet of paper underneath, flex, and measure the longest foot.
For example, if your foot measures 27.2 cm (10.7”), you should choose size 27/27.5.
A size 27 shoe is exactly the same as a 27.5.

What's my shoe size?

Once your foot is in the boot, fasten the buckles to the midpoint. Can you go further? This means the volume of the boot isn’t right for you. Once the boot is closed, flex the boots three times by pressing hard on the shins (put your hands on your knees to help) and push your heel backwards inside the boot. Stand upright: your foot should touch the end of the shell. When you flex, your foot should move backwards so you can no longer feel the tip.

How do you know if the boot is the right size?

1- Choose a technical ski sock that’s thin to prevent pressure points and promote blood circulation in the foot.
2- Choose a sole adapted to the shape of your foot to prevent it from being squashed and pressing against the shell. Ask an in-store salesperson for advice.


What should you do if you experience foot pain?

1- Air out your boots by removing the liner from the plastic shells.
2- Fasten the buckles at the first notch to prevent the boots from becoming deformed and, if possible, store them in a boot bag. 
3- If possible, store them in a dry place above 10°C. The boot’s plastic will thank you for it!
