As a first indoor trainer, I am very pleased with this. It's helped me keep riding through the winter. Maximum power output is capped at 600 watts and it can only simulate gradients of up to 6 per cent but so far that + Swift have had me dripping sweat after a 30 minute ride.
It's good.

Low power limit is the biggest issue of this unit. Reasonably fit biker can sprint more than 600w Everything else is amazing. Quiet and ERG response is fast. Data updates fast as well.

This is my first interactive turbo trainer. I’ve had a wheel mounted dumb trainer for a few years and the difference is huge. Quieter, easier to mount, no damage to the frame, but the biggest step up is the interaction with riding apps (I’m using Rouvey) connected as soon as y
ou open the app and off and riding in seconds. I’ve only done a couple of rides but I think this will keep me motivated to ride during the cold winter months. I was looking at the Wahoo kicker core with the swift one cog but it’s almost twice the price of this one and although it will do higher power output I don’t think that’s an issue for a casual rider like me. Also I was recommended not to get the swift one cog as it ties you to using Zwift which is much more expensive than Rouvey and I’ve heard is also louder in operation. Got the cassette as well from Decathlon for a good price.

I bought this turbo trainer as a bit of an upgrade from a wheel on turbo trainer that I've been using during winters for years. I'm not much of a climber so the limitations in incline weren't the most pressing for me. Since receiving the trainer, I've been able to connect it
to Rouvy and get it going and have to say it such a massive upgrade Vs the dumb trainer that it's unbelievable. Might not be for those on the more advanced end of cycling but I think it's great for the average weekend warrior. I would definitely recommend it at this price point, it's a great way into a smart training experience!
