The 150 Classic Cross-Country Skis with fish scales are the perfect option.
They’re a manoeuvrable ski with excellent grip for easily learning and discovering the joys of classic cross-country skiing!

1 - The 150 Classic Cross-Country Skis have a fish scale system that provides good grip for learning!

Size is based on ability and weight rather than height.

For the 150 Cross-Country Skis with fish scales: 
- 25 to 34 kg (55 to 75 lb) => 125 cm
- 30 to 39 kg (66 to 86 lb) => 135 cm
- 35 to 44 kg (77 to 97 lb) => 145 cm
- 40 to 49 kg (88 to 108 lb)=> 155 cm
- 45 to 54 kg (99 to 119 lb) => 165 cm
If you’re between two sizes: 
- For more comfort and manoeuvrability choose the shorter size.
- For more intensive use, choose the larger size.

2 - Selecting the right size

In cross-country skiing, “grip” refers to the central area on the underside of the ski.
Grip is important to avoid slipping on uphill inclines while delivering a smooth glide on flat and downhill terrain.
Choose from 3 systems:fish scales, grip wax, or skins.

The 150 Classic Cross-Country Skis are equipped with a fish-scale anti-slip system that provides excellent grip on uphill inclines.

3 - Fish scale grip—guaranteed anti-slip system!

All our skis come equipped with Rottefella bindings compatible with NNN, Prolink, and Turnamic standards.

The 150 Classic Cross-Country Skis are equipped with Rottefella basic auto bindings, perfect for beginner skiers.
Their step-in function makes skis easy to put on—simply pressing down on them with your forefoot. Take them off by pressing a button at the front of the binding with the tip of your ski pole.

4 - Basic auto bindings—simplicity at its finest!

We recommend that you prepare the underside of new skis for optimum glide. Several consecutive waxings are best to build up a proper base. 

To keep your skis in top performing condition, remember to wax them often!

5 - Waxing – the secret of longevity

Our skis are made from a “sandwich” structure: different materials are layered in the core of the ski and across its full width. 
The final product is assembled with a press.

Core = the centre of the ski: wooden (solid or grooved) or composite (honeycomb or Nomex®)
  Base = the part in contact with snow, made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE)
Grip = the area under the ski 
Sidecuts = width of a ski at the nose, waist, and tail
