Designed in our laboratories with a special rubber formulation to optimize the grip and traction of the sole. We research the best sole for hiking on muddy ground (grip) and on dry ground (traction).

Grippy soles

Our hiking boots are designed for use on hiking trails. We choose the sole and upper components for our footwear and test them to ensure they’re perfectly suited for walking on unpaved trails, such as forest paths, as well as on rocky coastal trails. Wearing them on paved roads could cause premature wear and discomfort. They’re not suitable for mountain hiking.

Designed for hiking use

Laboratory tests were conducted for following elements: attachment of eyelets and webbing, assembly, toxicology, UV resistance, sole and upper component abrasion, accelerated aging. We use these tests to improve the quality of our products and prevent the premature wear of our hiking boots.

Durability testing

Our hiking boots offer heightened comfort. We have included various design features in these boots to take care of your feet such as the EVA foam insole (flexible thermoplastic) and heel pad.
We have also made the insoles removable for greater hygiene (washing possible).

Comfort

These boots are slightly breathable but not enough to wick away all the moisture created by sweat. Wear them with the Hike 50 Mid Socks: they contain moisture-absorbing cotton and have a reverse terry-knit structure underneath that wicks moisture away from your feet. They’re also high enough to protect your ankles. High socks reduce the chance of blisters.
