I'm a nomadic minimalist and these are my favorite shorts. In fact I own two pair of them. It is noted that they differ. The first nylon belt shrunk beyond wearable. The second has a plastic instead of metal buckle which I like when passing through airport security. Also
the fit has changed and the second is less roomy in the seat area.

material is a bit harsh scratchy/stiff the shorts are a tad too long as bothers my knees and zip on leg pocket broken within 4 months i do wear these every day as the closet thing to my favorite shorts. good mid range work shorts. had to cut the double belt loops out as i o
nly use larger belts and it kept snagging on the small loop. overall good shorts but could be way better- softer lighter material and better made would be perfect.
