I'm a nomadic minimalist and these are my favorite shorts. In fact I own two pair of them. It is noted that they differ. The first nylon belt shrunk beyond wearable. The second has a plastic instead of metal buckle which I like when passing through airport security. Also
the fit has changed and the second is less roomy in the seat area.

These are light, dry very quickly and have zippy pockets so no lost/ stolen phone. When on Holiday go to shorts, wife even told me to wear something else. Washes easy and as said dries so quickly

pros- have the correct pockets-mostly comfortable-good stretch movement takes larger belts nice color( black and the blue) and good to wear all day long, they handle dirt well and dont show stains- BAD bits-material is a tad scratch-zips & pockets linning break at 6 months ha
rd use- bit too long so bother my knees- second belt loop smaller one is annoying as it grabs the belt. for the money 4.7 out of 5

Bought these for walking on holiday (12 - 20km). Ended up wearing these a lot. I found them comfortable, and the material didn't cling to your skin in the heat (28 C) while I was walking. Additional bonus they dry quickly after washing.
