Adjustable Hiking Pole - MT 500 Grey

Basic good hiking pole ! Very happy with the result as tested already on several north shore mountain hikes

Like the compactness and lightweight design makes it a great walking stick for the job.

My partner gave me a pair as a present. I don’t know if that’s a normal thing, but its grips (both) don’t stay at the place where they are supposed to be. They slide down on the sticks. Could be a defect…? Otherwise, it’s a good buy for money.

Ideal. I had to buy pole caps for these, as they don't come with caps on the ends, but it was simple enough with the code given and the description of the caps that are compatible.

While trekking uphill one has to shorten the length of their trekking pole. The locking clip is such that even if you lock this trekking pole an inch close to the locking clip, rhe trekking pole might slide over it, buckle and close completely!! One BIG DESIGN FLAW. This can

be fatal at high altitude treks. Experienced it personally at Buran Ghati pass !

These are great! I used them on hilly Nepal treks and really appreciate how easy they are to adjust quickly--the clip is so much better than the push-pins on other models. They are a bit long even when collapsed and don't quite fit inside my 40L backpack. The ends are super sh

arp and may rip a soft-sided bag. So the rubber stoppers for the ends are an excellent idea, just to be safe. But still, just an excellent set and good value.

Following a 7 day backpacking trip in the wilderness of Scotland I found that my main issue with these trekking poles is that they're noisy. When you use them, they make a clicking sound because the bottom part moves a bit. This noise can be annoying, especially when you're en

joying the quiet of nature. You might even stop using them just to keep things quiet, which is what I did quite often, but that defeats the purpose of having the poles in the first place. I'd probably get my poles elsewhere if i knew this ahead of time. No complains other than that.
