Running Belt with 500 ml Bottle

Water smells of plastic after just 15 minutes inside. The bottle is too small. I would be more happy to have a universal pocket for those bottles Decathlon already sells and I already have, than buying yet another small bottle.

The design of the bottle holder is good. The position feels very natural. Didn't need to find the holder when running. The velcro strap is much better than an elastic strap as it won't elongate over time. The pouch is big enough if my gels and keys but too small for my phone.

I still need a separate phone arm strap. I'm using a pixel 7 pro.

Good bottle, pocket, and comfortable fit. Go for the higher size if you want it to sit low which I found suits wider female hips. But... the velcro fixing is very high strength to hold the weight of the water, but it's so tough that the hooks gradually pull off the loops, a

nd vice versa. It got more and more bald and now the belt won't take any weight, not even just a phone if I put my key in my leggings pocket. I used it for longer runs (45m-1hr) and only in hot weather, probably only about 60 times over three summers, and that's a very generous estimate. If I was using it for 3 runs a week throughout the year it would have lasted about 5 months. All other aspects of the belt are still fine, without any obvious wear or tear. It could be improved it by using a buckle fixing, which would be repairable. It was good while it lasted and I'm happy to still have the bottle but I'll get something which hasn't got such a short lifespan if I decide to replace it.
