The jacket has 2 cuffs on each arm to limit water ingress.
The adjustable rip-tabs easily let you wear a pair of mittens or gloves over the first cuff and tighten the second cuff for insulation.

and around the neck to prevent air and water from entering the jacket. The visor also protects your face from rain drops and splashes.

Resistance to wear

Close all zips and flaps and remove any parts of the garment that cannot be washed. Loosen the straps and drawstrings and empty the pockets. 
Then turn the garment inside out to wash it.

How to restore water repellency 
Step 1: Before washing

Wash the jacket using the synthetics cycle (30°C–40°C) with regular detergent. Don’t use fabric softener or bleach, as these could damage the water-repellent coating.

Don’t fold your garment too much when you place it in the washing machine. Do not overload.

Very important: Run a full rinse cycle or extra rinse to remove all detergent residue.

How to restore water repellency 
Step 2: Washing

Drying is a crucial phase in restoring the water-repellent treatment.
We recommend laying your garment flat on a clothes rack to dry. Never dry your anorak directly on a radiator.

Next, put your garment in the dryer and run a short synthetics cycle (10–15 min.) before turning it right-side-out.

Step 3: Drying

If water no longer runs off the surface of your jacket, even after following the washing and drying guidelines, we recommend that you restore its water repellency using a waterproofing spray.
