I had the previous model to this with the rubber stopper but the stopper developed black mould and perished so had to be replaced. The new version has a lock lid with a handy loop which I thought was a better design until I nearly took my eye out when I took my first drink wi

th the two really sharp points that seem to have no purpose. I cut these off instantly. The loop is big enough for a couple of fingers or to hang the bottle but also acts as a bettering ram for your eyelids when using the insulated carrying strap - another silly design! The insulated carrier is pretty good at keeping the temperature down or up but don’t expect miracles. Also the foam insulation isn’t sewn in very well and has folded over itself inside the lining while it was being washed. I’ve had to cut the lining to rectify this. The worst issue however is I bought one for my son and he loves black current squash. The black current allows the flask to give off some noxious fumes and make the drink taste foul. There is someone mentioning a recall and I think it might be a wise consideration giving the nature of yellow glue and noxious fumes from a drinking vessel.

After less than 2 years of usage a hole appeared at the bottom of the bottle and now it leaks. I don't remember dropping it to cause such damage. It's the second bottle I have from this model with a similar problem. Also, the lid lock became loose with time and won't stay in t

he unlocked position.

Good secure fastening, I like that it locks. Pretty good at not leaking. Wouldn't recommend tipping your head back very far when you take a sip though, narrowly avoided a shower a few times...
