Diving Mask Type

The skirt (the soft, supple part of the mask) is made from silicone.
It has been completely redesigned based on user feedback.
The mask’s thickness has been optimized for a better seal, with the thinnest possible skirt to prevent discomfort and pressure.

Silicone skirt

There are 4 versions of the SCD 500 mask.
The first has a black skirt to help reduce glare. The second has a clear skirt to open up the diver’s field of vision. 
The third is fluorescent yellow to increase the diver’s visibility in cloudy water. 
The fourth has grey-tinted lenses to improve contrast under water, especially in bright conditions.

Colours and sizes

Tempered glass is two to five times more durable than traditional glass. If it shatters, it breaks into small pieces, reducing the risk of major injury. It has better scratch resistance than a polycarbonate lens.
You can opt for mirror lenses, which help reduce brightness in shallow areas and on the surface.

Micrometric buckles and a notched strap on either side make this mask easy to adjust, even when wearing gloves.

Dimensions and weight (size M)

This mask complies with EU standard EN 16805, and is certified by the INPP (French professional diving institute).

Accreditation

Place the mask on your face without the strap. Press to make sure the mask is firmly in place.
If the mask “suctions” properly and stays on your face, that means it fits and will be watertight.

If it falls off, you’ll need to try another size, as water will be able to seep in.

How to choose the right mask size

New mask: Wash your mask with liquid soap and warm water. Use your fingers to remove any grease. Don’t use a sponge. 

Before each use, spit into your mask and wipe the lens with your fingers to rinse it.
Wet your face to limit heat loss between the skin and your mask lens. This will help minimize fogging.

Use an anti-fog spray to eliminate fog completely.
