The spaces created by the material’s texture trap air; this air acts as a natural insulator, keeping your child warm. The brushed knit fabric traps air.

Fleece material: Insulates with air

Water repellency is a fabric’s capacity to make water run off its surface without being absorbed. It prevents the fabric from soaking up water, keeping it lightweight, warm, and breathable. Water repellency is achieved by treating the fabric’s exterior. The garment should be retreated over its lifespan (recommended after each wash). Water repellency products are available in our stores. 

Component water resistance

Care products: spray or liquid water-repellent treatment in the washing machine. To renew the fabric’s water-repellent properties and optimize the garment’s performance throughout its lifetime, we recommend using these products every wash.

How do I preserve the technical components of my pants?

Whatever your cold-weather activity, use the three-layer technique:
Layer 1: A high-tech base layer to wick moisture away from the body and keep your skin dry.
 Layer 2: A fleece jacket or sweater to provide warmth and transfer moisture outward.
 Layer 3: A jacket to protect against the elements (rain, snow, and wind). 
To eliminate moisture, the whole outfit must be breathable.
