The hexagonal (hex) dumbbell stands out thanks to its innovative design compared to the weight training bar, creating a beneficial imbalance that stimulates muscle strengthening. Ideal for intensifying your cross-training movements such as push presses, front squats or clean and jerks.

Why use dumbbells for your training?

Based on your comments, we’ve redesigned this dumbbell with 6 sides so it doesn’t roll around on the ground. 

Its rubber coating provides excellent impact protection and reduces impact noise.

The ergonomic handle, with its anti-slip zone and curved shape, ensures a perfect grip.

Why does the dumbbell have a rubber base and a hexagonal shape?

We recommend using this hex dumbbell with a rubber mat (ref.: 8651539), for trouble-free training. You can lay it down safely, and protect your floors from damage.

Be careful when dropping the dumbbell

It’s best to store your dumbbell indoors on a rubber mat (ref.: 8651539) to protect your floor. You can also store it on a storage rack for bars and weights (ref.: 8788246).

To keep your dumbbell in good condition, clean it regularly with a clean cloth.

How to store and maintain the dumbbell

Do 3 to 6 sets without resting between exercises, with a rest of 1 to 2 minutes at the end of each set.

- Goblet squat: 10–15 repetitions
- Dumbbell incline press: 10–15 repetitions
- Goblet lunge: 16–24 repetitions
- Russian twist: 14–20 repetitions

Our trainer proposes a strength training session (1/2)

For each exercise, start with the minimum number of reps (try not to go too hard, leaving at least two reps in the tank), then increase by one rep per week until you reach the maximum number of reps. Then increase the weight.

For more of a challenge, you can incorporate running between your sets and reduce, or even eliminate the rest period. Feel free to increase your loads.
