Prior to using it on a camping trip I did an endurance test of the battery. It lasted 8 hours plus on the lowest intensity. This level is sufficient for lighting up any trail in the nigh comfortably. The higher intensities are great for looking way ahead on a straight trail. T
he headband is comfortable and the light can be tilted up or down. The plus and minus buttons for switching on and varying the intensity of light are not easy to use. The plus and minus signs are shallow stamped and difficult to see. I have filled the grooves with black plastic marker pen for easy visibility. It is best to switch on the light before putting it on. I have not tested its waterproofing capability since the seal of the battery compartment does not look very convincing. The battery needs to be taken out and charged with a C Type jack. A separate battery holder which can use disposable batteries is provided. This can be used if camping in a place with no charging point.
