This is an excellent, affordable, warm jacket. I am starting alpine climbing with my partner which is why I bought this. I am size UK 6/8 on top but have wide hips size UK 8/10. I wanted this jacket to go both over my shell (waterproof) and under my shell with layers (meri
no, fleece, extra down/synthetic coat) in between. I bought size L in this jacket which does all of this perfectly. Could not recommend more but do size up accordingly.
