To ensure the grips are properly installed, unscrew the brake levers to ensure the grips are completely inserted into the handlebar. For the best results, you'll need 13.2 cm (5 1/5") of space to mount them properly.
You can then screw the grips in place, using either a 5 mm (1/5") allen key or torque wrench (5 Nm).
