Sizing information

We recommend the three-layer technique. 
Layer 1: A second skin (technical base layer) that wicks away moisture to keep your skin dry.
Layer 2: An insulating layer (T-shirt, fleece) that provides warmth and wicks moisture outward. Layer 3: An outer layer (jacket) that protects against the elements (wind, snow, cold).

Adjust the number of layers to suit the intensity of your activity and the weather. Make sure your clothing is breathable.

Windproof features reduce windchill by blocking cold wind.

Why should you protect yourself from the wind?

To avoid feeling damp, wear breathable clothing that allows perspiration to evaporate. 
We measure our clothing’s evaporative resistance (RET) 
RET < 6: extremely breathable, ideal for high-intensity activity
 RET 6–12: very breathable, suitable for moderate-intensity activity
 RET 12–20: moderately breathable, not suitable for intense activity RET
 > 20: not very breathable and therefore not suitable for physical activity
 RET > 40: not breathable
