We measure the resistance of a fabric to water pressure in mm of water column (JIS standard).The higher the water pressure a fabric can withstand, the more waterproof it is.
Waterproofing ratings:
Build to withstand water pressure of 5,000 mm Schmerber, which is the average pressure applied by the water during a shower.
This jacket has been tested in 2 hours of heavy rain (60 L/m²/h).

To preserve its water-repellent coating, do not wash this jacket too often.
Close all zippers and flaps, empty all pockets, and turn the jacket inside out. Wash it on the synthetics cycle at 30°C or 40°C with your usual detergent. Don’t use fabric conditioner or bleach, as these could damage the water-repellent coating. Very important: Choose a full-rinse cycle or extra rinse.

Washing your salopettes

Drying is a crucial phase in restoring the water-repellent treatment.
We recommend laying your garment flat on a clothes rack to dry. Warning: Never dry your jacket directly on a radiator.
Next, put your garment in the dryer and run a short synthetics cycle (10–15 min.) before turning it right-side-out. Caution: Do not over-dry the garment.
