During Aquabiking classes, you often move from sitting to standing by pushing your foot against the pedal. I bought this to go to the pool. A bit hard to slip on and the soles are too thin. Hard to walk in it too. So I'm using this as my garden shoe as I can leave it out even when it's raining. To go to the pool, I prefer water shoes.
