Vary your workouts with this 25 kg (55.1 lb) weight training band. The resistance adds intensity to some exercises while providing support for others.

- The band is 1.04 m (41”) long when slack.
- The band width is 24 mm.
- It provides 25 kg (55.1 lb) of resistance, meaning that you need to apply a force of 25 kg to stretch the elastic to double its length.

Band dimensions

Make sure it is well secured so that it doesn’t come unhooked while you are exercising, for example if you are using it to assist you with exercises such as pull-ups.

Check for wear (breaks or white areas) to make sure your band doesn’t break while you’re exercising.

Safe band use

Weight training exercises with a 25 kg band are very demanding. If you’re just starting out, a lower resistance is more appropriate. 
If you’re experienced and are looking for a challenge, this band is for you!
If you want to lighten your load during pull-ups, for example, we recommend the 25 kg band.
Each colour corresponds to a level of resistance:

Why choose a 25 kg band?

The resistance of the 25 kg band can help you lighten your load during pull-ups on a bar (ref: 8385106) or a rack (ref: 8651534), or when starting out with an ab wheel (ref: 8660093). It can also help lighten the load on a dip bar (ref: 8584544).
The greater the resistance of the band, the easier the exercise will be.

What accessories can you use with the 25 kg band?

Our bands are not tested for chlorine resistance, so we do not recommend using them in a pool.
Do not store outdoors or in direct sunlight.

Avoid contact with sharp or abrasive objects.

Storing and using bands to extend their life span

Try the following workout with a 25 kg band: 
- Deadlifts 3 x 8 or 12 
- Rowing with band 4 x 8 or 15 (band attached to a post or hooked under the feet) 
- Triceps pushdowns (band attached high up) 4 x 2 or 20 
- Resistance band push-ups 4 x 6 or 15
- Standing military press: 4 x 8 or 15 
If you’re just starting with a 25 kg (55 lb) band, choose a lower number of reps.
Allow for 1 minute of recovery between sets.

- Do you practise gentle yoga (Hatha, restorative, prenatal, nidra, etc.)? Transitions are slower and poses are less physically intense.
A mat that is between 5 mm (0.2”) and 8 mm (0.3”) thick will provide enough cushioning for your cervical spine and joints.

- Do you do dynamic yoga (Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Iyengar, hot yoga, Bikram, etc.)? Transitions are fast and the intensity is high.
A mat up to 5 mm (0.2”) thick will give you better grip and stability.

How much weight can you add to these dumbbells?

The weights are fastened to the threaded bar by a nut. This keeps them secure in any position. During dynamic workouts, check the nuts between each set, especially if you hear the weights knocking against one another. 
Minimal movement is normal and safe so that you can easily install weights onto the bar.

Train safely with the dumbbells set

This dumbbells set is the perfect solution for storing your workout equipment! Simply place the dumbbell bars and their weights in the case and easily store it under a bed or in a cupboard. 
The case also makes it easy to transport the set.

Dumbbells that are easy to store

There are a few simple things you can do to maintain your dumbbells set. Before storing your equipment in its case, wipe the bar and weights with a damp cloth. 
The case has compartments for each of the parts.
Store the case in a dry place. 

Never store your set in a cool, damp area or outside, as the humidity could cause it to rust.

Start training as soon as you receive your weight training bench.

Wipe the weights bench with a damp cloth after each workout. This helps increase the lifespan of your bench. Sweat is acidic and can damage the cover of your weight training bench. We also recommend wearing a T-shirt or laying a towel on the bench during workouts.
