Wearing this ankle support may be advised if you suffered ligament damage or are worried. You can wear this support to get back into your sport (basketball, soccer, handball, tennis, badminton, running, gymnastics, judo) more easily after a light to moderate sprain. It slips on easily with the opening at the back. You'll find the ventilated fabric and ankle-shape design very comfortable.

Why wear this ankle support?

A sprain happens when you stretch or tear ligaments in your ankle. Losing your balance on slippery terrain, making a sudden move, or manoeuvring during active play are common causes of sprains. It's estimated that sprained ankles are the most common sports injury, occurring at least 6000 times per day!

What is a sprain?

Measure the circumference of your ankle, at 5 cm (2") above the ankle bones. Then take that measurement and find your size on the following chart:
Size 1: 20 - 22 cm (7.9" - 8.7")
Size 2: 22 - 23.5 cm (8.7" - 9.3")
Size 3: 23.5 - 25 cm (9.3" - 9.8")
Size 4: 25 - 26.5 cm (9.8" - 10.4")

Choosing your ankle support size

Before getting back into sports after a sprain, make sure you do physio exercises so your ankles can get back to their old selves as much as possible. After suffering a sprain, you have a higher risk of reinjury; hence the need to protect your ankles.
