These are great boots but they only are waterproof for just under 1 year and I buy two pairs and rotate them and still they don’t last to year 2

I purchased these boots in March 2024. I was quite happy with them. They are warm, comfy and provide enough foot support for amateur light hiking. Last week I noticed they had started letting water in from the sole. I’ve been using them almost daily in a fairly wet enviro
nment (I live in Scotland) and so far they had been great when it comes to being waterproof. They still are not letting water in from the upper but I am quite disappointed as it has only been 4 months since I purchased them. They have failed precisely in the feature I was most interested in.

Purchased these as a my previous pair of Quechua boots were fantastic value for money. Not so these, they are simply not waterproof. From day one, they could handle the odd splash, but give them drizzle and your feet are soaked. Couldn't return them as I was abroad and had to
buy another pair, otherwise wouldn't have given them a moments thought.

This is my second pair, I rated the first pair so highly. These boots are very comfortable and have good level of waterproofing for early morning dog walks in wet grass. I would definitely buy another pair when these wear out.
