Bought for a child to use both for snowshoeing and hiking. Works well for both. It's very handy to have the adjustable height so she can use them with both shoes or boots. Her boots have a thicker sole so are higher off the ground. The price was very reasonable.

I've used this pole only one time for a 1500m hike and it helps me tremendously. Though this is a children's hiking pole and I'm an adult woman albeit a short one, it works perfectly for me. Helped me pulled myself up on a strenuous climb and also helped me balance myself on a
muddy terrain. Could also handle rough handling because this pole has seen hell and still comes out of the hike in one piece.
