Complete your 10 kg (22 lb) with a bar or dumbbell!

Install a disc collar on each end of your bar or dumbbell to work out safely.
They are sold as a pair (ref: 8574652). If you train with two dumbbells, you’ll need four collars (two pairs).
Do not exceed 15 kg (33 lb) if using your bar in a vertical position.

Don’t forget disc collars so you can train safely.

Store your cast-iron weights on a wall mount for discs (ref: 8796727) or a storage rack (ref: 8788246) to install indoors (such as in a garage).
You can also store them under a piece of furniture.
Your weight training plates should be stored away from moisture, since cast-iron can rust if exposed to humidity.
Your discs are easy to clean with a microfibre cloth when they have been stored for a long time.

Upper-body workout focusing on building muscle mass:

Short recovery time between each set.

Insert directly between the chain's links.

Quickly and easily read the degree of wear on your bike's chain.

Precision

Designed for easily and quickly measuring the degree of wear on your bike chain.

Intensity

Place your bike on your workshop stand (for greater comfort) or against a wall.
Insert the left-hand side of the tool into a link on your chain (make sure the small hook is well inserted into the link), then lower the right-hand side onto the chain to read the result.
Once it has been properly installed on your chain, the chain wear indicator should lie as flat as possible.

How to use this tool

If the tip of the tool (the right-hand part) does not go beyond the line above the "OK" sign, then your chain and cassette are in perfect running order.
If you press the right-hand tip of the tool in between the 2 lines of the "1", then you need to change your chain.
If you press the right-hand point of the tool beyond the line at the start of part "2", then you need to change your chain and cassette or freewheel.

How to read your result

It all depends on how often you ride.
We recommend that you check the condition of your chain once a month to ensure that your gears shift smoothly and that you don't wear out your cassette or freewheel prematurely. That way, you don't have to change them more quickly than necessary.

How often should you use the tool?

Maintaining your drive train ensures that your gears shift smoothly, extends the life of your components, and eliminates unwanted noise. We advise you to follow the 3 recommended steps:
01) Degrease your drive train;
02) Clean your bike;
03) Lubricate your chain.

Testing your chain wear regularly will prevent premature wear of your drive train.

You can add a pull cord to the machine (ref: 4698675), wear ankle straps (ref: 8582467), or use a 20 kg (44 lb) set to do biceps on the side (ref: 8018574).

The weights are inside the machine and pulled by a pulley system. It’s not possible to add weights to the machine, as the cables used to lift the weights are not designed or tested to go beyond 60 kg (132 lb).
