Good rack - lightweight, sturdy design and fabrication. I am using it on a month long tour. My panniers and gear to be loaded on the rack are 36lbs. Rack has held up nicely. Better than my last rack. IMPORTANT NOTE it is only JUST compatible with a well-known German water
proof pannier companies main/classic bag mounts (I can't name the company as my first review was removed). I suggest the next iteration considers this brands design considering it's popularity.

I wanted this for my winter/commuter bike because its light I tried to fit this to a giant contend 2021 rim brake. It is way to narrow and didn't fit. It would have worked on my fixed gear single speed bike with no issues (Probably). Also your bike needs to have the mou
nting point on the seat stay (A little bolt on the side of the bike beside the back brake. you can see it in the images). To make this rack work after purchase I bent the rack carefully in my workshop so it would fit to the contend mounting points beside the wheel. The contend doesn't have the required bolt on the seat stay so I then fabricated an attachment bracket so the mount would attach to the seat post clamp instead. The price point is appealing but it took a lot of work to make this fit. I do love its compactness.

I love this rack as it is light and durable. I have been using it for almost two years now. It may have gathered scratches, but it still is reliable. I use it for long tours and in running errands to town. Aside from attaching the Elops pannier bags to it, I also strap some ot
her stuff on top that cannot fit into the bags.

Very Satisfied with the Durability

I purchased this product on 5th March 2022, The installation was Simple and the rack is light in weight. I must say initially I was unsure with the durability of it knowing how light weight it is. My pannier bag which I use for my commute weights no less than 7kgs and goes up
to 15kgs occasionally. So far this rack has served me more than 2700kms ( Logged on Strava) mounted on my Dads Riverside 500 which I use for Commute in all seasons including rains. My average commute speed ranges from 23 - 27km/h for a one way distance of 13kms. I am very satisfied with this purchase and I know this pannier will serve me more years to come.
