Bottles sometimes bounce out when you hit big bumps. I should have gotten the kind with wrap-around side arms. Also the recessed holes weren't big enough for the screw heads on my Triban bike from Decathlon, I had to buy new screws for it.

Bought as a 3rd bottle holder for my bike packing trips. Really nice snug and secure fit for my water bottles(800-900ml). Been on couple of different mounts around bike and no issues whatsoever. All in all can't go wrong with it especially at the price

This bottle cage is not compatible with the fixings that came with my decathlon bike (RC 500). You will need to purchase different screws. Considering they are the same brand I would expect them to be compatible.

Rubbish bottle cage

The bottle cage itself looks OK of reasonable quality BUT the major issue is that the holes for the screw are too small. Diameter too small to accept the bolts that came with my Btwin bike!. Tried the bolts from my Giant road bike: too big. Tried the bolts from my Gary Fisher
MTB, too big. Has anyone in the Decathlon product team actually used this for real? If only accept very small headed allen bolt, please provide them with the bottle cage.
