Worked like a charm during my Mata Vaishno Devi trip in -1°c provided enough warmth and didn't let my ears and neck get cold during walking and tried these during bike ridding in 6-8° short distance of 3-5 kms(no helmet) there also they didn't let my ears and neck get cold but
they will make some air pass. if you are 1st time user of balaclava then that much cold air passing feels like nothing.
