General Terms of Use

Effective March 21, 2024 Welcome to your DECATHLON account (hereinafter the “Program”) offered and administered by DECATHLON CANADA INC. and its related entities, including the DECATHLON GROUP* (hereinafter “DECATHLON”, “us”, “we » or “our”). By joining the Program, the adhering party (hereinafter the “Member”) accepts without reservation the following terms (hereinafter “General Terms”). *DECATHLON GROUP includes DECATHLON SE and its affiliated entities such as companies and subsidiaries owned directly or indirectly by DECATHLON GROUP, including DECATHLON CANADA INC. I. How to become a DECATHLON Member? Canadian residents with a valid email address can become a DECATHLON Member if they have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence. You can create your DECATHLON account in store or at http://www.decathlon.ca/en/signin. You will then be asked to activate your account by following the instructions sent to you by email. Membership in the Program is free of charge. II. What information do I need to provide to join? You only need a valid email address to create your DECATHLON account. You can choose to create your account via “Social Login”. You must have a Facebook, Google or Apple account to use this feature and authorize the social network of your choice to share its information. In this context, DECATHLON only collects the Member's first name, last name and email address from the social network. III. What additional information do I need to provide to DECATHLON to take full advantage of the Program ? To take full advantage of the Program, you must accept to receive our exclusive promotional communications and add the following additional information to your account:

Members interested in improving the accuracy of performance metric calculations within one of DECATHLON’s mobile applications can also add information on his or her morphology. The collection and use of such information is subject to the terms of use of these applications.

IV. How can I update my communication preferences? You can update your communication preferences by logging into your DECATHLON account from the “Profile” page. V. How can I update my personal information? You can update your personal information by logging into your DECATHLON account from the “Profile” page. VI. How does DECATHLON use my personal information associated with my account? Except as otherwise provided, DECATHLON will use your personal information associated with your account in accordance with its privacy policy published at https://www.decathlon.ca/en/content/privacy-policy. Given the location of DECATHLON and its subcontractors, personal information collected for the purposes of the Program may be transferred, stored, retained and processed outside of your province, territory or Canada to perform specific tasks or mandates in the normal course of our business. In these cases, we take into account the protections afforded by the laws of such other jurisdictions, including the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation, and use contractual measures to provide adequate protection to your personal information. These subcontractors only act on the instructions of DECATHLON and at no time use your data for anything other than the execution of the services that we entrust to them. If you have any questions regarding the management of your personal information, please contact us through this form by selecting the "My Account" option. VII. DECATHLON Membership Card DECATHLON sends a virtual membership card by email to each Member following activation of their account. Each Member can also access their membership card by logging into their account. Think of your membership card as your personal key to unlocking the exclusive benefits of the Program. The membership card includes a barcode and a thirteen-digit identifier that all Members must use when completing their purchases. Each membership card is designed for a Member and cannot be used as a credit card or payment method. A Member may neither give nor lend his membership card to a third party. Any adult person residing at the same address as the Member and wishing to access the benefits of the Program must join the Program. VIII. What are the benefits of the Program?

You can access the following benefits as a Member:

DECATHLON gives itself the right to supplement the benefits included in the Program, including via services offered by internal or external partners. These benefits are subject to the specific conditions of the Program as well as the conditions of DECATHLON’s partners.

IX. What happens if my account is used fraudulently? Decathlon reserves the right to cancel your participation in the Program if you do not comply with the General Terms. If potential fraudulent activity on your account comes to your knowledge, please notify DECATHLON immediately.

X. How can I delete my DECATHLON account? We invite you to communicate with us via this form by choosing the option "My account" and mentioning that you wish to delete the account associated with your email. DECATHLON automatically deletes any account after 3 years of inactivity following a 3-month notice by email. XI. Modification of these General Terms We invite you to read the General Terms regularly to stay informed of any changes to the Program. DECATHLON reserves the right to update the General Terms or to terminate the Program at any time without justification. Any substantial modification hereof will be subject to prior notification within a reasonable time, by the means of communication chosen by DECATHLON, to Members. XII. Applicable Law and litigation These General Terms are governed by and must be construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable federal laws, without regard to principles of conflicts of law. Except where prohibited by law, all Members irrevocably recognize the jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec with respect to any dispute arising from or related to the Program.
